On July 1, the Armed Forces of Ukraine sincerely wish to all colleagues, friends, allies from the Canadian Armed Forces: Canadian Army, Royal Canadian Air Force, Royal Canadian Navy, Canadian Joint Operations Command, Збройні сили Канади з Україною / Canadian Armed Forces with Ukraine instructors, and all personnel of the INTERFLEX, UNIFIER operations, involved in numerous programs, both individual basic and collective, as well as specialized training of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the territory of Great Britain and the European Union, and to all the People of Canada Happy 158th Canada Day!
The Armed Forces of Ukraine are grateful to the People of Canada and all Canada for standing by Ukraines side over more than 34 years, supporting Ukrainian people and dissidents in the time of totalitarian oppressing of communist soviet regime, and the last more than 11 years, and especially the last 3 years – the hardest years and days in Ukraines modern history, for supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine are grateful for the comprehensive armament, ammunition, logistical support and the multi-year teaching and methodological contribution of the Canadian Armed Forces trainers on combat defence trainings, trainings on mental health for military psychologists of the AFU, cadets, and chaplains advisory and logistical assistance, military legislative, gender policy and NCO trainings, engineers and counter-EOD trainings, military police trainings and support within the framework of the Canadian Armed Forces, Department of National Defence and Canadas Foreign Policy—Global Affairs Canada programs on implementing educational, advisory, logistical, training, personal exchange, technical, armed assistance and support for the AFU in Ukraines struggle to restore the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine in the face of russian aggression.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine are grateful to Canadian Armed Forces and Canada standing strongly with Ukraine in support of ours sovereignty and territorial integrity during the full scale of russian aggression within the framework of the military training and capacity building mission in support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine – Canadian Armed Forces Operation UNIFIER from 2015 year, and Multinational Joint Commission and right now within the framework of the US-led Ukraine Defense Contact Group, to strengthen the capabilities of the AFU and its capacities to counter aggression by the russian federation for the last 9 years.The Armed Forces of Ukraine are grateful to Canadian Armed Forces instructors of the Operation UNIFIER of the Canadian Armed Forces currently supporting five training missions in the UK, Poland, and Latvia that teach both basic and advanced military skills to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
These include, that Canadian Armed Forces instructors of the Operation UNIFIER-UK in the framework of the multinational UK-led training operation INTERFLEX for the basic and specialised training of the personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Great Britain.
