It is extremely gratifying that General Clancy’s first official visit as Chairman of the EU Military Committee is taking place specifically in Ukraine.
This confirms that Ukraine is an important component of the security of the European continent.I spoke about the operational situation on the frontline, the implementation of the corps system within the Armed Forces, and the current needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for weapons and military equipment.We discussed, in particular, the strengthening of the protection of Ukraine’s airspace and the continued supply of artillery ammunition and missiles.I emphasised: cooperation in the defence industry is the key to our shared resilience in defence.Taking this opportunity, I thanked the European Union for supporting our country in the fight against the Russian aggressor.
