NATO 🇺🇦 Начальник Генерального штабу Збройних Сил України генерал-лейтенант Андрій Гнатов провів зустріч із Верховним головнокомандувачем Стратегічного командування НАТО з трансформації адміралом П’єрром Вандьє.
Під час переговорів генерал-лейтенант Андрій Гнатов поінформував про поточну оперативну обстановку на фронті. Він зазначив, що Сили оборони України продовжують стримувати противника, завдавати йому вогневого ураження як на тимчасово окупованих територіях України, так і на території російської федерації, а також за сприятливих умов здійснювати наступальні дії з метою відновлення втраченого положення.
Попри значні втрати особового складу, озброєння та військової техніки, противник не відмовляється від продовження наступальних дій, однак стратегічної ініціативи не має.
Генерал-лейтенант Андрій Гнатов наголосив на особливо важливій ролі НАТО у забезпеченні міжнародної військової допомоги Україні. Окремо відзначено механізм Пріоритетного переліку потреб України (PURL), який дозволяє оперативно забезпечувати Сили оборони критично важливими зразками озброєння та техніки за рахунок фінансування державами-членами Альянсу.
Начальник Генерального штабу ЗС України підкреслив важливість подальшого посилення протиповітряної оборони нашої держави, насамперед шляхом постачання сучасних зенітних ракетних комплексів і боєприпасів до них.
Він також відзначив ефективність чинних механізмів практичної співпраці з Альянсом, зокрема діяльності Спеціальної місії НАТО з безпекової допомоги та підготовки для України (NSATU) і Спільного центру Україна – НАТО з аналізу, підготовки та освіти (JATEC). Ці інструменти вже сьогодні забезпечують координацію міжнародної військової допомоги, розвиток спроможностей Сил оборони та досягнення взаємосумісності із партнерами.
В свою чергу ЗС України готові ділитися з партнерами набутим бойовим досвідом, зокрема у сфері протидії сучасним безпековим загрозам та ведення бойових дій в умовах високотехнологічної війни.
На завершення генерал-лейтенант Андрій Гнатов подякував адміралу П’єрру Вандьє та державам-членам Альянсу за незмінну підтримку, солідарність з Україною та готовність і надалі поглиблювати практичну співпрацю зі Збройними Силами України.

Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Lieutenant General Andrii Hnatov held a meeting with Supreme Allied Commander Transformation Admiral Pierre Vandier.
During the talks, Lieutenant General Andrii Hnatov provided a briefing on the current operational situation along the front lines. He noted that the Defence Forces of Ukraine continue to contain the adversary, delivering fires against enemy positions both in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine and on the territory of the Russian Federation, while also conducting offensive actions under favourable conditions to restore lost positions.
Despite sustaining significant losses in personnel, weaponry, and military equipment, the adversary has not abandoned its offensive operations; however, it has failed to seize the strategic initiative.
Lieutenant General Andrii Hnatov underscored the particularly vital role of NATO in facilitating international military assistance to Ukraine. Special attention was drawn to the Prioritised Urgent Requirements List (PURL) mechanism, which enables the rapid provision of mission-critical weapons systems and equipment to the Defence Forces, funded by Alliance member states.
The Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine emphasised the importance of further strengthening Ukraine's air defence capabilities, primarily through the delivery of modern surface-to-air missile systems and associated munitions.
He also commended the effectiveness of the existing mechanisms for practical cooperation with the Alliance, notably the activities of the NATO Security Assistance and Training for Ukraine (NSATU) mission and the NATO-Ukraine Joint Analysis, Training and Education Centre - JATEC. These instruments already provide for the coordination of international military assistance, the development of Defence Forces' capabilities, and the achievement of interoperability with partners.
For its part, the Armed Forces of Ukraine stand ready to share their hard-won combat experience with partners, particularly in the domains of countering contemporary security threats and conducting operations in the conditions of high-technology warfare.
In closing, Lieutenant General Andrii Hnatov expressed his gratitude to Admiral Pierre Vandier and to Alliance member states for their unwavering support, solidarity with Ukraine, and continued readiness to deepen practical cooperation with the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
