Since the beginning of the armed aggression of the russian federation against Ukraine, in particular in the context of repelling the full-scale invasion, civil-military cooperation (CIMIC) has become an adequate response to the latest threats. The goal of the CIMIC is to create favorable conditions in the civilian environment for achieving military objectives by organizing and maintaining an appropriate level of civil-military interaction with civilian environment in the areas of assigned tasks (deployment) of units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other components of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
The main functions of the CIMIC include:organization of civil-military cooperation; support of troops (forces); support of the civilian environment.
