Over the past 24 hours, on October 21, 2026, the Ukrainian Defense Forces neutralized 2,250 russian occupiers. This is the highest daily casualty rate among enemy personnel since the start of russia’s full-scale armed aggression against Ukraine.
Ukrainians are doing their utmost to save every life — both military and civilian. In russia, however, a soldier is merely a resource that they have no reservations about sacrificing and simply send to their deaths.
The enemy’s five largest daily personnel casualties:
Oct. 21, 2026 — 2,250 troops;
Dec. 19, 2024 — 2,200 troops;
Oct. 18, 2026 — 2,100 troops;
Sep. 27, 2026 — 2,090 troops;
Nov. 28, 2024 — 2,030 troops.
Three of the five highest casualty rates occurred in September and October 2026. The previous record stood for nearly two years.
Since the beginning of 2026, the russian aggressor’s total personnel losses have amounted to approximately 363,820 troops. Since February 24, 2022, the russian armed forces have suffered 1,572,790 military casualties.
The enemy’s casualties are rising month by month. In February 2026, they totaled 26,090, and by September they had reached 46,230. September saw the highest monthly figure since the beginning of the year. In less than three weeks of October, the occupiers’ casualties have already reached nearly 37,000 troops.
The Ukrainian Defense Forces are systematically depleting russian forces’ offensive capabilities in order to bring russia’s armed aggression against our country to a complete halt.
Glory to Ukraine!
