⚡️ russia continues its massive air attacks against Ukraine, using strike drones to hit critical infrastructure and to keep terrorising the civilian population.
Over the week, the enemy launched 2597 Shahed-131/136/238, Parodiya and Gerbera UAVs.
The Defence Forces of Ukraine neutralised 2282 of them. The interception rate over these seven days exceeded 87%.
This figure demonstrates the high effectiveness of Ukraine's air defence, particularly given the scale and intensity of the russian attacks.
The enemy keeps refining its drone tactics: it uses varying routes and flight altitudes, combines strike drones with decoys and attempts to saturate Ukrainian air defence with the number of simultaneous air threats.
Under these conditions, neutralising almost nine out of ten enemy UAVs is the result of well-coordinated work by aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, mobile fire groups, electronic warfare assets and unmanned systems operators.
Every air target neutralised reduces the risk of loss of life and of damage to residential buildings, energy facilities and other critical infrastructure. At the same time, even the high-quality performance of Ukrainian air defence cannot eliminate the threat entirely.
We therefore continue to urge citizens not to ignore air raid alerts and not to share information about air defence operations.
The Defence Forces of Ukraine continue to strengthen the multi-layered air defence system and to improve the means of detecting and neutralising enemy targets in the sky.
The fight goes on!
Glory to Ukraine!
