During the night of 31 October, units of the Defence Forces of Ukraine hit Kamensky Combine, a russian defence-industrial complex (DIC) enterprise in Kamensk-Shakhtinsky, Rostov Oblast, russia.
It was a combined strike involving strike drones and missile troops – Neptune coastal missile systems of the Ukrainian Navy.
A fire at the finished-products warehouse has been confirmed. Four production workshops were also damaged.
ℹ️ For reference: Kamensky Combine produces solid rocket propellant for the munitions of Uragan, Smerch and Tornado-S multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS), as well as for a number of missile systems and air-launched weapons.
❗Why it matters: strikes on solid rocket propellant production reduce the russian army’s capability to shell Ukrainian towns and villages with MLRS.
🎯 Four russian army materiel and supply depots were also hit in the areas of Khartsyzk and Dokuchaievsk, Donetsk Oblast; Novovasylivka, Zaporizhzhia Oblast; and Novoaidar, Luhansk Oblast.
The Defence Forces of Ukraine, exercising the right of self-defence guaranteed by Article 51 of the UN Charter, continue to take systematic measures aimed at undermining the military and economic potential of the russian aggressor and compelling russia to cease its armed aggression against Ukraine.
To be continued 💥
Glory to Ukraine! 🇺🇦
